Being powered by a TEE (trusted execution environment) instead of an off-chain engine ensures that no one can tamper with order logic, price-time priority, or outcomes without it being detectable and provable.

Millisecond performance: The new architecture enables network roundtrips for order creations and cancellations to compete with the low latencies of centralized exchanges. Websockets will be the ultimate source of truth, the HTTP responses from posting and cancelling orders are only meant to be an acknowledgement of the request (doing basic schema validation), and the actual confirmation for an order being open, rejected, successfully canceled or failed will come via Websocket.
